Baptist Health Care Center in April with a “Changing of the Guard Ceremony” on March 29.

Deanna’s leadership with BHCC began when she joined the center as the Director of Nursing more than three years ago. Her prior experience stems from years of clinical nursing and leadership in acute/long term care.

She brings to the table as the new administrator, continuity of care, passion for the BHCC mission, and dedication to providing a quality environment for both residents and staff.

Her education includes an AS degree from Bismarck State College and BSN from MedCenter One College of Nursing – graduating Magna Cum Laude. She completed the Gerontological Nurse Certification through ANCC in July 2014 and passed the administrator national exam (NAB) in December 2018.

When Deanna took care of her best friend’s grandmother at the Golden Manor in Steele, ND, she was inspired by her advice, “Why worry when you can pray?”

Deanna further notes, “All we need to do is trust, believe, and remember that Jesus, our Lord and Savior, is always there for us. He has a plan and is in control.”
